Insights Presenting at the Gidget Conference: Advancing Digital Screening in Perinatal Mental Health

Diginostic had the privilege of presenting at the Gidget Foundation Australia Perinatal Mental Health Conference. While the presentation focused on findings from the 2026 Queensland Health clinician evaluation of digital screening, the experience extended beyond the session itself. It provided an opportunity to strengthen an important partnership, contribute to conversations shaping perinatal mental health care, and reflect on Diginostic's growing role within the sector.

Gidget Foundation Australia is one of Diginostic's key national partners. Being present at their conference reinforced the shared commitment between both organisations to improving access to perinatal mental health support and strengthening early intervention pathways.

Presenting alongside Lyndsey provided an opportunity to share how Diginostic supports clinicians through evidence-based digital screening tools and demonstrate the practical role technology can play in perinatal care.

The presentation drew on findings from the 2026 Queensland Health clinician evaluation, highlighting how digital screening can act as an effective entry point into care by supporting earlier identification of risk, assessment and referral.

Gidget clinicians engaged directly with platform enhancements for Queensland Health, including the updated domestic and family violence (DFV) screening workflow and Kimberley Mums Mood Scale (KMMS) reporting. These discussions highlighted the importance of developing tools that are not only evidence-based, but also practical and responsive to the needs of healthcare professionals.
