At Diginostic, we are committed to providing quality services to you. We take your security and privacy seriously, and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information. In this policy “we”, “our” and “us” refers to Diginostic PTY Ltd.

Information you provide to us

For the purposes of this policy, “personal information” means information or an opinion that identifies an individual.

Personal information that you input to the app may include:

  • your name;
  • email address;
  • age;
  • postcode.

This information is collected to enable us to send information, provide updates or process product or service orders. We may also collect data at other times, including but not limited to, when you change any of the above details in your profile settings, when you provide feedback, when you respond to surveys and/or promotions, or communicate with customer support.

The information inputted is stored on a secure Zoho CRM database, which is accessible only to Pat Cronin Foundation administrators. Your personal details will be added to a mailing list. You will receive an email requesting permission to subscribe to the mailing list or not. You can unsubscribe to the mailing list at any stage.

We do not share your personal data with any third parties.

Other information about your use of the app

Usage information

Whenever you use the Be Wise app, we collect usage information, such as the length of time you spend per session, what screens or features you access and how long you spend on each screen, and other similar types of usage information. We also collect the type of operating system used to access the app (i.e. Apple or Android). Usage data is de-identified and aggregated to provide us with statistics about how users are engaging with the app.

We may use and disclose de-identified usage data for purposes including research and analysis, marketing and improving and continuing to develop our services.

Location

We use your IP address to derive the approximate location of your device. This tells us what country and jurisdiction you are in. This data is de-identified and aggregated to provide us with statistics about where our users are located.

This app also uses location data for the geofencing feature to detect when you are in the vicinity of one of the app’s geo-fenced venues. The use of location services are opt-in. You can enable or disable access to location for this geofencing feature at any time in your phone settings.

The app can track your location even when the app is closed or not in use, but only if you opt-in to this. This feature uses your location to detect when you have entered the vicinity of a geofenced venue in order to send you a notification to remind you to act wisely while out socialising at that venue, to reduce the risk of experiencing alcohol-related harm.

We do not store any personal information relating to your location when you enable the geofencing function.
